As leaders for social justice you have witnessed how dysfunctional, discriminatory government can cost people their very lives. We need to elect and support political leaders who value people’s health, their water, their civil liberties and their right to control their own bodies.

The 2018 Progressive Voter Guide is a voter education project of Pride Source Media Group in collaboration with the UAW, ACLU of Michigan, AFL-CIO, Planned Parenthood, Michigan NOW, the Progressive Women’s Alliance of West Michigan, Human Rights Campaign, Equality Michigan, the Sierra Club, the League of Conservation Voters and Lansing Area Human Rights-PAC.

Perceptions is proud to partner with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services on the HIV/ TOBACCO Program. This program provides tobacco cessation courses, education, awareness, and presentations to the general public and the AIDS Service Organizations in the Great Lakes Bay Region and reaching to Traverse City and Marquette. Tobacco use is the #1 killer of the LGBT community and reduces the lives of all, but particularly those living with HIV.

Our Trans, Family, Friends, and Allies Group is open to all transgender, intersex and gender non-conforming people, our partners and allies residing in and around the Great Lakes Bay Region. We have 3 groups, Transgender Teens, Transgender Adults, and Allies. We offer education, open discussions, and socialization. This is our largest group with an average of 30 people attending.
