National Crime Victims’ Rights Week April 8-14, 2018

Equality Michigan has been advocating for the rights & well-being of LGBTQ crime victims and their families for many years.

The department of Victim Services believes that everyone has the right to dignity, respect, justice, and healing.

Equality Michigan and Perceptions would like to invite you to honor survivors of crime, by attending a community awareness event that will include community speakers, giveaways, activities, refreshments, and more!

This event took place April 9, 2018

At Unity of Bay City

We met some great advocates, some inspiring survivors, and some victims that needed help and didn’t know where to go. Caught up with some old friends and made new ones. Cried a lot and smiled a lot! Our vendors that came and demonstrated their services were amazing. Great job, everyone!
