Perceptions is proud to partner with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services on the HIV/ TOBACCO Program. This program provides tobacco cessation courses, education, awareness, and presentations to the general public and the AIDS Service Organizations in the Great Lakes Bay Region and reaching to Traverse City and Marquette. Tobacco use is the #1 killer of the LGBT community and reduces the lives of all, but particularly those living with HIV.

Our Trans, Family, Friends, and Allies Group is open to all transgender, intersex and gender non-conforming people, our partners and allies residing in and around the Great Lakes Bay Region.

We have 2 monthly meetings. The first meeting includes 3 groups, Transgender Youth, Transgender Adults, and Allies. Our second meeting is designed for fun and socialization. See our calendar.

Our Resource page if filled with local LGBT health, mental health, crisis, addiction, transgender, and HIV resources.
