About the Choir
Harmony Diversity Choir uses the language of music to educate, network and advocate for diversity, inclusion and equality throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region. Created under the umbrella of Perceptions, Harmony Diversity Choir brings together LGBT and allies in unison – regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression – to transcend differences and create and foster a safe and supportive environment for all.
Join the Choir
Our choir brings together more than 35 voices from all walks of life and from across our region. We rehearse at St. John's Episcopal Church (405 N. Saginaw Rd., Midland, MI, 48640) on Sunday evenings from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Choir members contribute $25 annually. This tax-deductible donation qualifies the individual choir member as a Perceptions donor-member, which includes all voting rights as allowed by our bylaws.
Consideration will be given to those individuals who find a membership fee may prohibit their participation. Distributed music must be returned or a fee of $5 per piece of music will be charged. Members will be expected to purchase performance attire, which will be kept to a minimal expense.
Check out our calendar for upcoming rehearsal and performance information. Follow us on Facebook and subscribe to the Perceptions weekly announcement for important messages.
